In lounging

Raleigh's hip art enclave will host its latest multimedia installment on Thursday, May 18, at Artspace. Lounge features Dick Luxury's Blue Room Revue, hosted by Richard Alwyn, a "blue room" designed by funky furniture maestros from Father & Son Antiques, the Love Limited Orchestra with Dana Kletter, Neal Fisher and Doug MacMillan (of The Connells), as well as a mysterious roaming Lovely Cigarette Lady. A $25 admission fee ($20 for members) will go toward the Artspace summer arts program scholarship fund, which provides full scholarships for students who would otherwise be unable to attend. Best of all, the ticket price includes three drink vouchers and grubbing rights to an array of finger foods. Doors open at 6 p.m. For more information, call 821-2787.
