This is another one of those movie and music nights at the museum and its surfing theme is just in time for "I'd rather be at the beach" season. Music is by the The Slackmates, a Raleigh-based "surf and spy music" band featuring Rod Abernethy of Arrogance on guitar and covering the likes of The Ventures, Link Wray and the symphonic surf sounds of Henry Mancini. The film feature is Step into Liquid
2003 surfing-around-the-world documentary written and directed by Dana Brown, who is the daughter of surf film guru Bruce Brown. The show is $12 ($9 NCMA members) or $5 for little shredders ages 2--12.
