Jazz drummer extraordinaire Jack De Johnette got his start recording with Miles Davis. He has since collaborated with jazz greats like John Coltrane and Herbie Hancock, won tons of awards--including an Honorary Doctorate of Music from Berklee College of Music--and been credited with making significant contributions to the evolution of jazz. De Johnette will perform at Duke's Page Auditorium on Friday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, $5 for Duke students; call 684-4444.
