In comedy
If watching a stand-up comic with a penchant for wearing mini-skirts on stage is your idea of hell, then Angel Salazar is the man to change your mind. The L.A.-born comedian has real acting chops, and employs them in his routines. Salazar's Cuban/Puerto Rican heritage has made him the character actor of choice for the directors of films like Scarface and Carlito's Way, and his mixture of street smarts and physical comedy usually gets the audience involved in his stand-up routines. This winner of the Los Angeles Comedy Competition will be appearing at Charlie Goodnight's from March 27 through April 1. For details, call 828-5233.
