Cyril Lance brings Grammy-nominee Johnny Neel of Allman Brothers fame and Boston-based Matt Jenson for an evening of high energy blues for The Cyril Lance CD Release Concert this Friday, May 10 at 8 p.m. at the Carrboro ArtsCenter. Lance, the former lead guitarist of Mel Melton and the Wicked Mojos, will perform blues and roots music from his new CD, Stranger in My House. Lance's blistering guitar and Neel's impassioned vocals combine with Jenson's accomplished piano and organ playing to create "one of the best contemporary blues albums of the year," according to Billboard magazine.
