To paraphrase the late, great Troy McClure: Improv! Is any word more thrilling to the human soul? With a mere few audience-inspired prompts, comedians provide you with laughs often involving inappropriate entendres. Burning Coal sponsors a one-night-only improv-fest featuring several local performers. ComedyWorx veteran Andy Forrester hosts ECU's The Swash Improv, NCSU's Biological Necessities and Comedy Worx's Hotel Principality. The evening ends with PT Scarborough is a Movie, in which the veteran improviser (recently profiled in the Indy) supplies the soundtrack to film clips chosen randomly by the audience.—Zack Smith
