Holiday Pops: NC Symphony

When: Fri., Nov. 29, 7:30 p.m. and Sat., Nov. 30, 3 & 7:30 p.m. 2013
If your holiday needs a jump start, the North Carolina Symphony will oblige. The annual Holiday Pops concert is a family affair, featuring festive music and sing-along carols. Joined by the Capital City Girls Choir, the symphony plays while WRAL's David Crabtree narrates "The Night Before Christmas." Santa Claus will be there, so kids can make requests to the man in charge. Bring nonperishable food to benefit the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and get $20 off two tickets to a January 2014 concert. —Chris Vitiello
