Harvest of Horrors Series: The Exorcist
Wed., Oct. 16, 10 p.m. 2013
We're in the middle of October, which means a lot of Halloween-related junk will be popping up all over the place. Films, too: Anybody looking forward to Koka Booth Amphitheatre's annual "A Reel-ly Scary Cary" film series? But let's take time to mention an event sponsored by a beer company. The Triangle's very own Big Boss Brewing Co. is hosting the Harvest of Horrors Movie Series, taking place every Wednesday night at Mission Valley Cinema. They've already hit horror-loving audiences with The Shining and Night of the Living Dead. This week, the theater will be unspooling William Friedkin's immortal 1973 fucker-upper, The Exorcist. So, while there may be other spots in the Triangle screening some possibly scary movies this month, the cats at Big Boss Brewing promise that you'll get messed up—if not by the movies, then by their beer.
