Now don't go complaining that you don't like classical music in boats, with goats, in the rain, on a train, in a car or in a tree. Composer Rob Kapilow (whose credits include The Polar Express) is not going to take any of the nonsense with which Sam-I-Am seems so patient in Dr. Seuss's much-loved yarn, Green Eggs and Ham. On the contrary, Kapilow and the North Carolina Symphony will present this unique take on the story without a mouse, a fox, a box or any sort of off-colored breakfast food to put a damper on the afternoon of musical adventure. —Ashley Melzer
