Wake Tech Culinary Arts Showcase 

When: Tue., April 30, 4-7 p.m. 2013
Price: $10, $5 for students
The Culinary Arts Showcase displays the talents of students, local chefs and industry professionals from across the Southeast. A variety of award-winning culinary creations – cakes, pastries, and cold food platters. A live, two-hour cake decorating competition, in which winners receive cash prizes and a “Golden Whisk” award. Wake Tech instructors and students will offer an ice carving exhibition, and live food demonstrations. Some of the Triangle’s top restaurants will provide samples, while the North Carolina Department of Agriculture’s Goodness Grows Campaign serves up locally grown treats.
