Get your hands dirty

Thanks for the great story on Trudy Matheny's agritourism farm ("A place to learn and play in the dirt," June 21). I met with Trudy about two years ago, when all she had was a barn, some chickens? (she gave me some mighty good fresh eggs), a field, a pond, some cows and a dream. It has come true for her, and I hope folks in the Triangle will flock to Genesis Farm and see a real working farm where you can have fun or just enjoy being in the country. Visit ncfarmfun.com or ncagritourism.com to find other farms across the state--after you've been to Genesis Farm!
