This diverse if phonetically dubious event celebrates its 41st year as a centerpiece for the veritable cornucopia of artistic resources in this corner of the Triangle. Enjoy such local musical acts as Tea Cup Gin, Tokyo Rosenthal, Hindugrass and A Mad Affair; witness the fancy footwork of the Encore Academy of Dance, Footnotes Tap Ensemble, Dominant Young Souls, Cognitive Resonance and the Cane Creek Cloggers; or just see what students can do in the UNC Dance Marathon. There's a new "digital bookmobile" to help you figure out that tablet action, freestyle spray paint art by artist Josh McBride, and a giant fox who will create for you custom poems on a mechanical typewriter. (SPOILER: it's really INDY contributor Chris Vitiello, whom we advise you to torment by repeatedly asking him, "What does the fox say?") Grab a few laughs off the performers of DSI Comedy Theater, witness the jump-roping action of the Bouncing Bulldogs and check out all the other stuff we couldn't fit in here.
