We know you're looking to get out of the house—and more specifically, the kitchen. Between the Christmas goose and the black-eyed peas, greens and spiked punch and Champagne that await for New Year's Eve, it's time to take a break, to head to the country, to the land of belted cattle and carefully cultivated rusticity on the fringes of the Triangle. Tonight is another "Evening Out Dinner" at Fearrington Village, with three-course menus by head chef Colin Bedford. The fare will include in-season produce, and the cost (sans wine) is a reasonable prix fixe of $30 per person. Wine with dinner raises the bill to $45.
