Downtown Durham Tapas Crawl

When: Sat., Nov. 3, 6-10 p.m. 2012
www.oldhavanaeats.com

You won't need an Español-Inglés dictionary to navigate the inaugural downtown tapas crawl, which celebrates the traditional Spanish dish. Wend your way down Main Street and visit the Old Havana Sandwich Shop, West End Wine Bar, Revolution and Taberna Tapas, which will unveil special menu items and featured dishes for the evening. (You may wonder "Where's Mateo Tapas?" Never fear, the popular new eatery plans to participate in future crawls.)

The free downtown bus, the Bull City Connector, will stop near each restaurant, allowing diners to travel without the driving hassle—especially helpful after you've had a couple glasses of wine. Sponsored by Old Havana, the event runs from 6–10 p.m. Info is available at each restaurant or by emailing info@oldhavanaeats.com. —Lisa Sorg
