Jackson cannot win this seat. He is not able to raise the money to keep the seat. James Roberson is new to a town council and has no track record. Don Mial lost big and is a state employee. The seat should go to Lindy Brown or Jeanne Bonds. They have been elected, can do the job, have track records. Finally, the women are the most qualified. I personally think Bonds is the one who can keep the seat from a strong Republican challenge. And I think she can raise the money to keep it. Plus, at least 100 Rs told us tonight they will vote for her in an election.
You think y'all got it bad. I live in a dry county where they now allow you to brown bag in a few places but you can't sell it. Bizarre!!! SO what is the difference if you buy it there or bring it in you are still consuming the alchol. I say Wise up NC!!!! We are trying to open a place but all those who are interested said they will not support us because we do not have a bar.
