Local members of People of Faith Against the Death Penalty are asking the towns of Carrboro & Chapel Hill to become the first local governments in NC to pass resolutions calling for repeal of the death penalty. Speakers at this community forum will include the Rev Richard Edens, co-pastor of United Church of Chapel Hill; Jennifer Marsh of Chapel Hill, representing the NC NAACP; and Stephen Dear & Amanda Lattanzio of People of Faith Against the Death Penalty.
