Dave Attell is the consummate club comic. While other comedians move on to theaters—or, in the case of moneymakers such as Kevin Hart, arenas—Attell chooses to stick it out with the Zanies, Improvs and Funny Bones of this great nation. Lately, he's been on a mission to prove how in his element he is in such spots by shooting his latest special, Dave Attell: Road Work, at several comedy clubs around the country. It recently aired on Comedy Central, which is also showing his new afterhours stand-up series, Comedy Underground with Dave Attell—shot at a comedy club. Basically, you couldn't get the dude out of the clubs if you tried, and he has several shows at Goodnights through May 17.
