Whenever my mother brought me to the local library when I was young, I checked out Cinderella, without fail. My mother wondered why I would want to read the same book over and over when there were so many stories to choose from, and I wondered why my mom would ask such a silly question. Can anyone ever tire of Cinderella, the classic dream stuff of little (and big) kids? Carolina Ballet's artistic director, Robert Weiss, commissioned Cary resident Karl Moraski to compose a new Cinderella in 2006, and this year it is being performed along with Robert Weiss' Grieg: Piano Concerto, choreographed earlier this year. Performances are Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. —Christina Cass
