Aaron Neville's quavering tenor has earned comparisons to that of Sam Cooke. The 70-year-old soul singer, a key member of the New Orleans family band the Neville Brothers, has kept the pot bubbling for a half-century, but despite his big '60s hit "Tell It Like It Is," most of his releases were out-of-print when he teamed with Linda Ronstadt for 1989's Grammy-winning Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind, which produced the hit "Don't Know Much." It revitalized both their careers, and he's remained busy ever since. Last year he released I Know I've Been Changed, on which he returned to his first love of gospel music and reconnected with Allen Toussaint, who produced his first-ever recording sessions. Tickets to the 8 p.m. show—it's billed as "Christmas With Aaron Neville," so expect plenty of holiday favorites—run $42–$52. —Chris Parker
