Cherie Priest

When: Fri., Nov. 30, 7-8 p.m. 2012

Some authors like the Triangle so much they just can't stay away. Such is the case with best-selling steampunk author Cherie Priest, who was just in the area a few months ago and is now back for the paperback release of her novel The Inexplicables, the fifth in her alternate history "Clockwork Century" series. This tale takes us to 1880, where the Republic of Texas has found oil 50 years sooner than they did in our world, and those who've headed out West have found some very weird things indeed. Priest appears at 7 p.m. —Zack Smith
