A fictional depiction of the making of Raja Harishchandra, India’s first feature film, in 1913. In telling the story of the director’s struggles, Harishchandrachi Factory employs many of the same cinematic techniques used for the first film, including fixed camera angles & shaky, experimental zoomings.
