Body Awareness

When: April 30-May 22 2010
Price: $14-$18

Asperger's syndrome has been firmly planted in the public consciousness for a few years now. It's also started to influence various art forms. Annie Baker's play focuses on a son diagnosed with autism and the repercussions throughout his family. Fittingly, the accompanying Deep Dish book club title will be Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, in which a character with Asperger's syndrome solves a mystery that leads deeper than he initially thought. The book discussion is Thursday, May 20. Performances run through May 22. —Sarah Ewald
