Hurray for Paul Friedrich!

We're so happy to have Onion Head Monster represent Best of the Triangle this year.

OHM creator and Raleigh native Paul Friedrich is at the forefront of the Low Def Pop Art movement. He is a member of Designbox and a co-founder of SparkCon. Paul created the graffiti mural at Marbles Kids Museum, designed the logo and mascot for Wake County's 86it.com anti-littering program, and has been selected for the CAT bus Art on the Move project three years running. He is editor of Hellcar magazine and author/ illustrator of several books. Paul became the NHL's first-ever official cartoonist in 2009 with the launch of his Stormy the Pig's Cup of Awesome comic strip and animation for the Carolina Hurricanes.

Paul will join us (and you!) at the Best of the Triangle party on June 11, 4–10 p.m., at Durham Central Park. Meanwhile, get your fix at Paul's Facebook and Twitter.
