This year marks the 10th anniversary of the show that fuses art and fashion. Student-run and not for profit, Art to Wear is a collaboration between N.C. State's College of Design and College of Textiles, making it a one-of-a-kind show in the Southeast. This year's event features 13 designers, most of whom will be graduating this May. Each promises a different concept, ranging from dance costumes with fiber-optic lights to an incorporation of pennies into couture dresses. There's also a Design Showcase that will display current students and alumni's businesses, products or causes, giving Wolfpackers an excellent opportunity to get their goods out to the projected 3,000 attendees. Pre-view and post-view coverage of the show will be posted online at indyweek.com. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the showcase, and the show begins at 7. Tickets are $5–$25; students get in free.—Lauren Shute
