Ever feel like you don't belong? Square peg? Even if the monster you see in the mirror is truly a lovely princess or handsome prince, it doesn't change the fact that you still feel different. Kelly Doyle, the Raleigh-based author of Blue (which recently premiered at Burning Coal), has penned Agnes the Giant, a dark comedy about a girl who believes she is a giant living her life stuck in a tiny house. Using a variety of media, the play chronicles her imagined life and path to the real world. A staged reading, directed by Mark Sutch, is at 7 p.m. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5. —Christina Cass
