As a free man in the late 1800s, he founded Latta House as an orphanage and school that provided education for all. The house symbolizes the vibrant community center that the Latta House Foundation is trying to restore. The fourth annual festival to raise awareness of their efforts will feature local music (The Amateurs, Barefoot Manner, Energie Brazil, Stump, and more), craft exhibitions and vendors.
Come and enjoy this event with every member of the family in celebration of the great promise that the Latta House holds. Saturday, June 7, 10 a.m.-8 p.m, Latta House grounds, 1001 Parker Ave, Raleigh. $10.
