I agree with Razor Charlie.....It's a crying shame that the Broad Street Cafe was not included in this "hunt" for the best pizza palaces in the Triangle. The pizza there is very impressive.

Have to agree with crowd. The last 3 times I have dined at Broad Street Cafe, I took friends who had never been, and every time the dinner was a success and they freely commented on how good the meal was more than once.

I can't speak for the other cities, but the list of reviewed pizza places wouldn't even make a top ten list of where Durhamites would actually go for pizza, with the exception of Pie Pushers. What about Broad Street Cafe, Satisfaction's, Cinellis at 604 W Morgan, Lilly's, Mellow Mushroom, Randy's, Sal's at the Park, Italian Pizzeria on Guess and probably more that I'm forgetting at the moment.

It's a real shame that one of Durham's standards for the last four years, The Broad Street Cafe, wasn't included in this "hunt". Somebody certainly didn't look too hard for good pizza in Durham if they missed this gem of a place.

Some of the best wood-fired pizza i've had anywhere in all of my travels.
