Tim Dugan is an ultimately confused individual who can not analyse the world around him.

He speaks as if "Amendment One" were NOT to have passed then a whole bunch of things would have happened -- opening the gates of Hell.

This is totally illogical! Things would have continued as they were.

The passing of the amendment has brought a change!

Tim - my religious beliefs instruct that, for example, I should keep separate sets of dishes for milk and meat, and that I should refrain from eating pork.

How would you like it if there were an amendment to the state constitution that forced these particular religious beliefs on the entire state population?

From a good book called the dictionary:

bigoted |ˈbigətid|
adjective
1) obstinately convinced of the superiority or correctness of one's own opinions and prejudiced against those who hold different opinions
2) expressing or characterized by prejudice and intolerance

There are a number of people on both sides of this issue who fit (1). (2) speaks for itself I think.

I guess I was naive in thinking that marriage rights were about, you know, the actual people getting married.
