      <![CDATA[Bill Fletcher ran for the the state superintendent in 2004 while he was a member of the Wake County Board of Education. There was no pressure on Fletcher back then to give up his seat on the BOE (and he did not), so why should there be any pressure on Tedesco to give up his seat if he decides to run?
