      <![CDATA[The short answer to your first question is no - asked him about that and he did not have anything imminent or concrete. He did say the league was fielding inquiries all the time from groups interested in the league, but with D2 guidelines and the league's deliberative process regarding vetting new candidates, I don't think any new groups will be joining the league in the next year or two unless they're an existing clubs/ownership group.

      <![CDATA[I'm guessing there was no word from Mr. Downs regarding potential ownership groups for either Carolina, Atlanta or Minnesota? Any new US-based groups interested in joining the league that haven't been mentioned before?
