<![CDATA[In Saxapahaw we've been adding color to telephone poles by stapling blue strips of old pool liner, to represent the slip-n-slide at the summer farmers market and the Haw river in who's shape our 2005-2006 slide was cut. The art on the pole softens the ugly pole and also reminds us this our community and does not belong to Duke power.

<![CDATA[Nice article. Yarn bombing comes in many flavors -- but definitely enlivens all it covers by adding color and cheer.

<![CDATA[Very fine article-I thought it was one of the best articles on yarnbombing that I have read . I liked the quotes you used from what I sent you . I also liked the material from Carol Hummel , the information on how people are using permission from the cities they work in and the academics and there take on public spaces. most articles that have been written have made a few jokes , talked about Magda Sayeg and called it a day -all with a condescending tone . I think what you wrote will inspire people to humanize the dead zones around them and think about yarnbombing too.
