      <![CDATA[For the first time since its inception, the Social Security benefits will go up by 3.6 percent in 2012 to adjust for the cost of living. The Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) will add about $42.57 monthly for the average retired American in 2012.

truth #1 - in 2010 SS paid out more than it took in <br>
truth #2 - in 2011 SS will pay out more than it will take in<br>
truth #3 - NPR (extreme right-wing propaganda and disinformation?) states the trust fund is like taking you retirement money to put a deck on your house then trying to use your deck to buy food, etc. after you retire... ain't going to happen<br>

call me names, curse me whatever but address my true facts;  short term SS is busted; long term SS is busted worse and your trust fund was used to build roads to get Etheridge elected; oops people there figured it out, someday you will understand it also but you will still lie to yourself and scream "tax the rich", "evil corporations" blah blah blah tripe<br>

P.S.  Obama corporations like GE etc making billions and paying $0<br>
