SS took in less money than it paid out in 2010 <br>
SS will pay out more in 2011 also<br>
already in trouble, no 75 year issue... today<br>
taxing the rich is always proposed as an answer to every problem, but it never is<br>
Maureen understands first - the masses are asses and second the trust fund<br>
intergovernmental debt defined by NPR is you have a house and use your retirement funds for a deck, then you retire how do you use your deck to buy food and expenses in retirement? sell your deck?

      <![CDATA[As you mention, I agree that the social security program itself is not a problem. In fact it is widely and correctly credited with reducing poverty among the elderly.
