Just to clarify, there are FIVE intersections that will receive either a diamond or cloverleaf interchange that will eat up acreage already owned by residents, businesses and at least one developments --- limited access means these roads would require a side-street to reach U.S. 64. Currently, the following roads feed right into U.S. 64:

751/New Hill Road,

Farrington Road/Beaver Creek Road,

Big Woods Road/Seaforth Road,

Mt Gilead Church Road/Pea Ridge Road

Fearrington Road and NC 751. The NCDOT is doing Chatham a favor to allow for five access points.

As far as evacuation from an event at Shearon-Harris is concerned, the exit route depends on wind direction.
