How can anyone endorse Mr. Jackson as as a spokesperson when he himself has stated that he wants to be seen and not heard. With all of the issues that currently need to be resolved we would be better served with someone that has a proven track record of serving the public.

Representative Rosa Gill is a wonderful person but District 33 needs another Bernard Allen, Sr. District 33 needs a representative that will put time in the district working in the field - connecting the voters with every resource possible to turn the tide, to elevate the overwhelming number of families on free and reduced lunches, to protect the middle class communities and to insure that the district’s voters are known for what it can produce as well as what they can consume.

Young Bernard Allen has a great legacy to build upon. His father, Bernard Allen, connected industry with the leadership in the district.

Excellence is not found in the Jackson ranking at 85.

Your endorsement of Jackson is baffling given his performance record since he was appointed to the seat.

Why didn't the piece mention that Jackson previously ran for the NC House twice and lost both elections? Or that he missed around 80 votes due to lack of attendance?

District 39 residents deserve excellence, not mediocrity.
They write, “His opponent, Jeanne Milliken Bonds, is endorsed by the State Employees Association (SEANC).
