      <![CDATA[<p>Yes it's too bad that the money can't be spent on a first-class bus system -- which actually stands a chance at being useful. But there is nothing sexy about improved bus service, so politicians aren't likely to push for it.</p>
    <p>None of this is about reducing traffic on I-40.

      <![CDATA[I don't think any of these entities are taking a common sense approach to rail transit. Raleigh/Wake County doesn't want to contribute to Durham but isn't the goal to decrease traffic on I-40?
