In henderson NC. the internet sweepstakes cafe, will take your money but will not let you win,its like they know who is setting at each computer, and almost only the white people win, the manager, and owner they play and always win,so why is it that no one else could win,why is they allowed to play when they already know the machines, they also set the machine to not pay you anything, if you do win anything it is like 5cent or 10 cent and maybe some times 15 or 25 cent, 5, 10, nor 15 cent should,nt be on the game because all the games start at 20 and 25 cent, and if you get a bonus its sometimes only 50 cent or $1.00 or $2.00 Thats Not a bonus, so what is it with the internet sweepstakes cafe, no one win but the owners, or manager and their family members, someone really needs to look in to that.

Judging by the level of grammar, spelling and lack of ironic self awareness evident in these comments, I would say that the majority of the sweepstakes cafe's patrons are life long victims.

Ray Eurquhart's assertion that Internet cafes of "the kind that [are] getting people to take chances with their money, instead of saving and having a financial plan" is missing the point...the point being that the victim mentality has no "financial plan" other than hapless squandering.

Sure hope someone will see to it that the players, being right or wrong are treated with the respect they purchased. One of the estabolishments will push aside any questions the players have as though they are saying Tough Luck you worthless Gambler. At least in a legitimate gambling place the player recieves comps, airconditioning,a clean rest room etc.Alot of the players who showed up for the meeting received money or a meal at Mc Donalds(nice?)Most of them are so caught up they are afraid to speak out against the dissrespect they are shown. If I go to a place of bussiness and Im not satisfied or cant use my purchase chances are I can get a refund. What about these casinos (sweepstake Places)can I get a refund?

Whats bad is when you click spin using minimum bets of 25cents often the winnings are 5,10, and 15 cents. Next five spins nothing, then next spin MAYBE 40cents, or (credits) as they call it.

When I was visiting my parents in Eastern NC, I saw TWO Internet cafes in Rich Square and Scotland Neck. They were filled with customers at 10:00 at night, which is truly something considering the state of local businesses in this area--most of the buildings in downtown (which is really just one main street and an intersection) are dilapidated, empty and boarded-up.
