      <![CDATA[As Rick Glazier pointed out the Iowa case is not comparable because the Iowa law in question did not contain a specific provision in the NC bill that states:
    <em>"Nothing in this act shall be construed to create any classification, protected class, suspect category, or preference beyond those existing in present statute or case law"</em>

      <![CDATA[^ @ ncdave4life:  your paranoia and bigotry is quite pathetic. If you think a bill to prevent bullying and/or gay-bashing in schools is a step to legalize same-sex marriage then go sit in your corner with your tinfoil hat on, and leave the legislating to the adults.
