<![CDATA[I am the caller on the first call - my husband was the first customer to become ill, after the chef (which we did not know). My cell phone went out of service because I was in the back room and because other people were falling ill. 1) The restaurant staff was not helping me at all - you can hear me asking for the address - the reason, they were not calling 911 for me. 2) The 911 operator was terrible - I remained calm, but she was interrupting me with stupid questions and not letting me finish my sentences.

<![CDATA[First, we noted the scores both here and on the original blog post, which earned Evoo an A. As for the author's journalistic credentials, she has won several awards for investigative reporting. The story is factually accurate.

<![CDATA[I am not sure what journalistic experience the author of this article has acquired; however, her information is based on assumption. It sets forth a fear tactic style of writing that is unbecoming of anyone with a desire to know facts before disseminating damaging information based upon no authoritative conclusion.

<![CDATA[The restaruant is making every effort to find out what made customers sick. Although there are infractions listed on the Department of Health's website, I can assure you those are not uncommon with other restaruants in the area.

<![CDATA[ssmith626: Thanks for the additional information. The story clearly spells out the restaurant's A ratings, but also factually reports the contents of recent inspection reports that detail ongoing cleanliness problems such as dirty knives and malfunctioning sanitization equipment.

<![CDATA[The Health Department has been unable to link the incident Friday night to any items of food served at Evoo or to any problems with food handling or storage. At this point, investigators believe the illness may have been the result of a live virus brought into the restaurant by a customer or other third party, but are continuing to investigate.
