<![CDATA[Indeed, LSL, well-said, insofar as you have hereby validated one of the principle laws of Internet argument, Godwin's Law (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law) by dragging "Nazi Germany" into the mix. A story asking the question of whether it's OK to use ethnic slurs to attract collegiate white-hats into your bar isn't the equivalent or even a symptom of the censorship you mention.

<![CDATA[I've never been to The Goat, and never will, but I do carry a copy of the Constitution in my pocket: "Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech..." That's more important than anyone's hurt feelings, because as soon as you start down the slope of telling people what is or isn't offensive, and what they can or cannot say, you run into the problem of the powerful deciding that it's offensive for the weak to criticize them.

<![CDATA[After seeing the reporting on this on WRAL, after reading the article on the Independent, and looking at the other websites listed in the article and the resulting comments I really think this is very over blown. Granted, I'm probably older than most of the Independent readers, but has Dr. Ho (or anyone offended by this) ever watch, oh, I don't know...All in the Family, Sanford and Son, Living Color, Dave Chappell, The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Office, Saturday Night Live or any comedian live?
