<![CDATA[I'm not well-schooled in film criticism, and watch entirely for pleasure, entertainment, enrichment but I am inclined to evaluate my experience of receiving a story via film. There have been times when Godfrey Cheshire has been so arcanely scholarly in his review of film, that I am appalled and disgusted.

<![CDATA[It is a pity that the name Bresson must be dropped every time a filmmaker enters a church or a cloister. It really isn't very edifying any more.
