Too many people have forgotten the real crime in the jumbled mess of pointing fingers. If this case, evidence, and depositions were moved into a new state and court, the floodgates would explode. Those boys were not murdered by teens. This was horrid act committed out of rage and jealousy. In every child homicide the parents are the first suspects under the microscope. And that was not the case in this situation.
I came from a small town and have seen how that can blind all parties involved. Nobody ever wants to believe someone they know can do something like this.
A mother's instinct is uncanny. And here we have a mother that really needs to be listened to.
I fear this is going to be tossed around until it's too late to punish the real killers involved.
