Don't be too quick to laugh it off. Chapel Hill now is a long way from the Chapel Hill of 1968, is way yuppie and becoming more gentrified by the day. All those people want is more money, visible success and days on the golf course. I used to lived there about 10 years ago, but on a recent visit I was SHOCKED by the transformations of Carborro, West Franklin St and East 54. Even big logos are everywhere now. Fracking Meadowmont is more likely than you think and will happen as long as it's privately owned and there's money to be made. So, unless you get the laws changed back!...
