Spent a few days in one of Mr. Mitchell's classes. I found him to be very grounded in common sense and someone who does not play politics. What you see is what you get, he will not take a position this week only to change it next week when speaking to a different group. While I don't agree with everything he has to say or has ever done, I honestly think he has the moral fortitude and character to put the individuals in District 16 above any other concerns. The problem with government is us. We avoid the moral person then are offended when the person we do elect flip flops and caves to special interest and money. The impression I got of Mr. Mitchell is that his character defines his actions where as most candidates actions determine their character.
