He may be gone but certainly is not forgotten. What a legacy he left. I discovered one of his books at the Goodwill, read it, and raced to get all of the others. It is rare for a man to feel so deeply and to be so open with those thoughts.
I heard once that we all have our demons. He surpassed his demons and went through years of deep thought discovering the circle of answers to who we are. I particularly enjoyed Woodrow's Trumpet. Three people who were castoffs were destroyed by societal change. What an ending. Makes one sit and wonder.
