Re: “The big money bankrolling the school voucher movement

I think this bull! You want those of us that have paid for private schools for our children that did not have a "good educational" opportunity to continue to pay our taxes and let you use them for public school. Our kids don't attend public school and we receive nothing in a tax deduction, but oh my gosh let OUR money to go to our schools we want to attend and you have fit! Get a freaking life! The public school system does not work for students that need extra help, they don't care. My daughter tried it and all I got for my money was "she know what she needs to do so do it" the IEP is a joke! Those teachers don't care what is written on that paper. They reward the high achievers and ignores the low achievers. For some students those with the C or D is an A! You make me sick you greedy selfish people! It should be whatever school works best for a student is the right plan and is covered under the tax dollars of the people that are paying taxes. I am blessed I could afford a private school. They did care, they had teachers that stayed after school and came early to help any student that needed help. Their plan did not include kick you out of class for not knowing how to to do math so you draw a flower on a piece of paper quietly. They build you up, make a plan and have success with the student, leaving them with high self esteem. Public schools destroy a childs self esteem if they don't fit in the mold they set for them. I think all of you on this forum are a bunch rich assholes that could pay for whatever school you wanted, but will deny a children with Autism, learning disability or a very poor student who is picked on constantly and bulled a better school with small classrooms of 15 or less. They could have loving, kind, caring teachers. In private Christian schools your child is taught that we are all equal in God's love. You are so wrong to deny these vouchers for students that could go far far beyond what a public can ever offer them. Robots that pretty much public school. And the teachers, please half the older ones should have been fired years ago. So just keep fighting and denying the "others" fair choice. Do you wonder why its public schools that have shootings, drugs, fights, its because those children don't follow any rules but they also treated so badly by the teachers and other students they snap. In private school you don't get to push another student out of "your group" your are taught we are all equal in Gods eyes so we treat each other with love and kindness and the students love it and are happy everyday. Peddle your know it all facts to someone else I have seen what happens and its not at all fair! Fair is a parent and child making the decision on what school is best for the child. And my tax dollars should follow my choices!
