Another one unable to download PDF Version this morning, 11/16. . I would just love it if two consecutive weekly crosswords would appear and not have some problem. This one it technical, but editing problems in the puzzle itself, misspelled puzzle words that are not merely "variations" and clues that have no relevance to the "solution" are maddeningly frustrating. Last week you had two different downloadable puzzles, and a solution for only one of them. The first one suddenly changed and no reference was made to it. You don't treat us "readers" very well.
"Romeo's flowery words?" Really? Hmmph.
The one thing we can always count on with Indy Crossword puzzles is that you can't count on them . . .
Anent today's (Oct 14) crossword puzzle clue 89 down: I hope I'm not the only one to remind you and your crossword creators that E. E. Cummings preferred to be referred to as E. E. Cummings, rather than e. e. cummings. Publishers insisted on "highlighting" his name by dropping it into lower case letters, but Mr. Cummings never approved. (Apparently, your Spellcheck agrees with me, also!)
Sudoku using letters of the alphbet - how very clever!!!!!
This is becoming an unfunny joke. the URL you gave me (http://www.indyweek.com/indyweek/diversion… . ) if for an entirely different puzzle. The printed puzzle (I mean printed on paper, you understand) is called "A Walk in the Woods." There is no title on the puzzle at that URL and it it o way resembles the one you included on the printed version.
I'm astonished that you have not put up the actual puzzle that appears in the printed version, and a solution to it, especially with the strange turns it takes, by now. I informed you of the problem back last Friday and yet the same puzzle, totally unrelated to the printed version still appears. Tsk, tsk.
