Kat, you seem like someone with amazing potential. You've worked really hard already to get to where you are. Keep on being who you are for your fans! But also, sudden fame is a huge burden to handle. I would advise caution in your relationships now that you've achieved a degree of fame. People will want to take advantage of you. Keep your old friends and supporters close, and listen to them.
Much of your interview reads like a promo piece for Amanda Palmer. Just be careful! Amanda Palmer and her famous husband are no doubt charming in person, but don't fool yourself that she is reaching out to you out of the goodness of her heart or for some higher purpose. She is a master marketer. Her overtures to you came with blog entries, YouTube clips and PR pieces highlighting your name as a keyword, with the intent that your television audience would spillover into her own. It's all business for her. A few words about Amanda Palmer in an interview are fine, but this is about your career, not hers!
How you handle the next year will be crucial. Don't give too much of yourself away. Have fun. And best of luck!
