My family and I just moved to a community using Auqa for water an sewage. We have only lived here for about 2 months and have had countless problems, we complained to the lanlord who told us to call aqua an auqa has not too much to say about our dirt brown sometimes black water. But really what tops it off is that yesterday our water was cut off to Auqa saying we didn't pay our water bill (which was over 400$ for a family of 3) when we most definately did! All our bills are set up to auto pay an pull out there selves on the date they're owed. Auqa pulled out 453$ on the 22nd of January an yesterday the 23rd our water was shut off with out notice right before our 4 month olds bath time. When we called them to get things figured out we were told we haven't payed since living here!!!! I was in dis belief because we have payed our deposits and all! They told us in order for our water to be cut back on we would have to pay a re connection fee of 298$ so after arguing with them for at least 45 minutes and getting no where we just decided it would be easier to just pay the damn un owed bill!! After taking almost 300 of our dollars we are then told that there's no one in the area (Gaston county, nc) to turn our water back on an that we will have to wait until Monday. I am in awe of this company and don't understand how it stays going. My wife daughter and i are staying at my mothers until Monday afternoon when Auqa will be turning our water back on. This place should be SHUT DOWN.
