It sounds as if Mr. Ginsburg is pitching for a chance to interview at the Indy, as he is a staff reporter for Yes Weekly in Greensboro. I am fairly surprised that Mr. Ginsburg would call out the reporting of Ms. Sorg on this story. I live in Winston-Salem and have read Yes consistently over the years. I have consumed many stories under his byline involving various subject matters that in some instances (in my estimation) have equally been lacking on clarity of source on some occasions. I would think that it would be considered somewhat poor form to call out a fellow professional in an adjacent media market on something like this.
The main thrust of this particular story is the chronology of events that lead up to the death of Mr. Huerta. The particulars of who did what when during citizen protests as a result of this event was not hugely cogent to the information that was being conveyed by publication of this story.
